OVERVIEW
What AICCP covers
AICCP is GAICC’s practitioner credential for applying, governing, and defending AI across estimating, scheduling, earned value, and forensic claims. The course is 30 contact hours, mapped to eight examination domains, with a full mock exam and a domain-by-domain readiness report.
The examination is 80 scenario-based questions (70 scored) in 2 hours 30 minutes, online AI-proctored, with a scaled pass of 350 on a 100–500 scale. Completing the self-paced course package meets the 30 contact hours GAICC require before you sit that exam.

FAQ
FAQ
What is the GAICC AICCP certification?
AICCP — AI Cost and Control Professional — is GAICC’s practitioner credential for applying, governing, and defending AI across the cost-controls lifecycle. It is built for cost engineers, estimators, planners, schedulers, earned-value analysts, claims professionals, and decision-and-risk practitioners.
Who is this training for in Malaysia?
Cost-controls professionals who use AI in their work, or expect to, including cost engineers, estimators, planners, schedulers, earned-value analysts, forensic claims professionals, and project-controls leaders.
What are the eligibility requirements?
Completion of at least 30 contact hours of structured GAICC AICCP training delivered by GAICC-authorised providers or equivalent recognised institutions. Completing GAICC self-paced courses also meets this requirement. Professional experience is recommended, not required. Where candidates choose to record experience for a portfolio, GAICC encourages experience gained within the last eight consecutive years.
How is the programme structured?
Thirty contact hours across modules mapped to the eight examination domains, plus a full mock exam with a domain-by-domain review. Thirty hours of self-study are recommended in addition to the contact hours.
How is the exam set?
Eighty scenario-based multiple-choice questions, of which 70 are scored and 10 are unscored pilots, in 2 hours 30 minutes with no optional break, on the GAICC online AI-proctored platform. The pass mark is 70%. Scores are scaled from 100 to 500, with 350 as the passing threshold. An onscreen calculator and AICCP formula sheet are available. There is no negative marking.
How long is the certification valid, and how do I renew it?
The credential is valid for three years. Renewal requires 60 CPD hours in that cycle, then a renewal application and fee.
How many CPD hours will I earn?
You receive 60 CPD/PDU hours on completion of the AICCP course. Renewal of the credential later also requires 60 CPD hours per cycle.
What happens if I do not pass the exam?
GAICC members receive one exam voucher per certification. A further attempt after an unsuccessful first sitting requires the applicable exam fee.
What is the difference between the two packages?
The self-paced course package includes the full video course and everything needed to prepare from scratch. The membership and exam package is for candidates who have already completed the AICCP programme and only need the examination, membership and supporting resources.
Can I buy the exam package if I have not done the training?
No. Thirty contact hours of structured GAICC AICCP training are required before you can sit the examination. If you have not completed it, choose the self-paced course package.
Is the GAICC certification programme CPD accredited?
The GAICC certification programme is CPD accredited.
Can I enrol a team?
Yes. Group rates apply for five or more. Contact us for a corporate quote and consolidated invoicing.
Certifying more than one person?
