We do not currently collect payment information through this website. If we introduce online payment in future, this notice will be updated before that facility becomes available.
3. Why we collect it
We process your personal data to:
respond to your enquiry and provide information about our training programmes
suggest a certification from our catalogue when you use the certification finder on this website, and follow up on that conversation. The suggestion is not a determination of whether a certification body will accept you
register your enrolment, deliver your programme and issue attendance or completion records
register you with the relevant certification body and administer your examination
prepare and submit grant applications, claims and supporting documentation, and respond to audits
record and deliver virtual sessions, and operate optional study or messaging groups
meet our legal, regulatory and accreditation obligations
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
4. Is providing your data obligatory?
Providing your enquiry details is voluntary, but without your name and contact details we cannot respond to you.
The certification finder needs your name and consent, as described in section 2(e). Without them we cannot start that conversation. Our staff who administer the website can read it.
For enrolment, certification registration and funding claims, the information described in sections 2(b) and 2(c) is required. If it is not provided, we may be unable to register you with a certification body, deliver your programme, or process a grant or claim on your behalf.
Where sessions are recorded, we will tell you before recording begins. Participation in optional study or messaging groups is voluntary.
5. Who we disclose your data to
We may disclose your personal data to the following classes of third parties:
certification bodies and their examination providers, where registration or examination administration requires it
HRD Corp and other funding or grant bodies, and your employer or sponsoring organisation, in connection with applications, claims, audits and compliance
our trainers, assessors and course administrators, where necessary to deliver your programme
technology providers that operate our website, database, communications, certification finder and virtual classroom systems on our behalf. These providers act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.
professional advisers, auditors, regulators, government agencies or law enforcement, where we are required or permitted to disclose by law
6. Storage and retention
Some of the systems described in section 5 store data on servers located outside Malaysia. By providing your details, you consent to your personal data being transferred to and stored outside Malaysia for the purposes set out in section 3.
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, and we retain it only for as long as necessary for the purposes above or as required by law, accreditation rules and funding audit requirements.
7. Your rights
Under the PDPA you have the right to:
request access to the personal data we hold about you
request correction of data that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date
withdraw your consent to our processing of your data
limit the processing of your data for direct marketing purposes
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@globalmaster.com.my. We will respond within the period required by the PDPA, and may need to verify your identity first.
Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer deliver a programme, complete a certification registration, or process a funding claim on your behalf.
